Architecture Walk (Starts at Bugis+)

The first trial - focused on WOHA
Missed this date?

I love architecture and the cosy walking tours I've been on in cities from Sydney to Berlin to Chicago. And Singapore is my home, so I'd like to share a story of it through architecture. My hope is for it to be approachable to the layperson while bring rich for the enthusiast.

So please join me to explore the buildings by WOHA, arguably one of Singapore's most exciting architects. Along the way, learn something new about Singapore, and fall in love with this city again.

Note: This will be the very first time I'm presenting this walk to a group, so please have the correct (read: lower) expectations. Treat it as an afternoon hanging out with friends old and new!

Registration is free, please register individually, and please inform me ahead of time if you can't make it. I'm only opening up 10 slots.

  • Buildings covered (tentative): Bras Basah MRT, Bugis+ Mall, Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple, Space Asia Furniture Hub, School of the Arts, The Cathay Cinema, Nomu Condominium
  • Meeting point: Bugis+
  • End point: Bras Basah MRT. Optional extension to Dhoby Ghaut, Clarke Quay or Chinatown
  • Rain or shine event: Please dress for walking, and prepare for sun or rain.
More information:
  • I'm not an architect - I'm a storyteller
  • I'm not a trained / licensed guide, but I've volunteered for two years of OH! Open House
  • I haven't figured out the logistics of entering some of the buildings, so it is very likely we'll just stay outside
